Jackson Douglas, LPC, is a dedicated clinical leader and Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience in high-stakes crisis management and trauma-informed care. Currently serving as a Therapist and Clinical Lead at Velocity Health Group, Jackson drives performance and clinical outcomes for specialized patient teams through comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and individualized treatment planning. Functioning as a clinical lead within a collaborative milieu, he facilitates individual, group, and family therapy while managing complex transition planning and aftercare services. Prior to his current role, Jackson served as the Director of Crisis Services for Clark Community Mental Health, where he doubled crisis response capacity and served as a primary liaison for Missouri’s 988/MO Connect Pilot program. His background includes directing the “Show Me Hope” Grant for Burrell Behavioral Health—providing support for over 5,000 individuals—and serving as a District Crisis Response Team Lead for Kansas City Public Schools. As a CPI Instructor and a member of the Missouri State Disaster Response clinical strike force, Jackson has trained hundreds of professionals and law enforcement officers in de-escalation and trauma-sensitive theory. A seasoned supervisor and trainer, Jackson is trained in EMDR, Neurofeedback, and Play Therapy. He possesses deep experience in organizational strategy, having assisted in developing the SOPs, purpose statements, and logic models for regional clinical departments and youth centers. Jackson’s career is defined by his commitment to building resilient, trauma-aware teams that maintain unconditional positive regard for diverse and vulnerable populations while ensuring clinical excellence across all levels of care.
